Hey , it has been a while .
just been out carving and cutting away here are a couple of Love seats for sale
Hey it’s Been a while .
I just built a custom Love seat from Aspen logs these loge were hand picked from the Aspen groves on the Wyoming range mountains Look closly at the logs I have tried to pick out the ones that have alot of character .
Logs that have been rubbed by the wildlife of (Shot by a hunter ) I found a couple of those.
you can see the worm tracks in the wood or even a woodpecker that was looking for lunch .
Hey the booth at fossil est was a blast we had lots and lots of people stop by and look at my Weddding guifts and my Gun stocks. we SOLD out of the wedding gifts and so im settled in carving more.
It was great to meet and share my art work with others,
I have just finished another project . It is an Aspen Log and a tripplet Oak leaves made from solid Walnut
The oak leaves are very hard to do with out breaking them . When carving the
Aspen you need to waer a respirator because the dust is bad for you and stinks.bad!
The Aspen log is a beautiful log to work with . I like working with the walnut it seams to carve easy
for me . Be carvul when carving close to your hands of you will carve your hands . ha ha ha
Thanks Kevin
I have just finished carving a Buffalo skull from a piece of walnut you should see the pile of saw dust that I made on this piece ! All I did wascut away all the wood that did not look like a Buffalo Skull .
I’m currently working on a nother circle of life this one is going to differant than the last
It is still the same theme but as you know each carving is always just a little differant just because it is hand carved
I have changed my circle of life just a little bit I have added more depth to it and I have added manufactured Ivory Buffalo skull to it if you are looking for something that would hag in Den this is the one piece that would do it.
I have almost finished this one . Iwanted to show you this before it is done .
It is in my horseshoe gifts. Buffalo Skull and lucky Horseshoe
enjoy
